J. Michael Coleman Michael Coleman has served as Dean of Undergraduate Education since 1997. He is also a Professor of Psychology in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences where he and his students have studied developmental processes in identity formation and maintenance for over 20 years. Cathie Alexander Working within the UT System since 1992, Cathie Alexander began her academic career at the McCombs School of Business on the Austin campus, where she worked as faculty director of the first year experience programs. Kristen Blakely Kristen graduated from UTD in August 2006 with a B.A. in Arts and Performance. She began her career at UTD that same month working as an Admissions Counselor in the Office of Enrollment Services. Tony Champagne Anthony Champagne is Pre-Law Advisor at UTD and Professor of Political Science. He is interested in Constitutional Law, Law and Medicine, Civil Liberties, and Judicial Elections at the state level. Dr. Champagne served as a U.S. Supreme Court Judicial Fellow in 1990-91. He is the recipient of three University-wide teaching awards. Dr. Champagne has written a biography of Speaker Sam Rayburn and recently co-authored a book on judicial politics in Texas. Douglas C. Dow Douglas C. Dow is Associate Director of Collegium V and Clinical Professor of Politics and Government. He teaches courses for the CV program in the areas of political and ethical theory, public law, and American politics. As well, he oversees the initiative to recruit and aid UTD students applying for distinguished national scholarships. Blake Hamaker Blake joined the Undergraduate Education staff in May 2007. An assistant in the Academic Excellence Scholarship Program, Blake's primary responsibilities include handling all probation matters, as well as administering the housing stipends for AES students residing in on-campus housing. He brings experience in education, having taught high school students for two years in the Dallas Independent School District, and in account administration, having been employed for nearly six years in the bankruptcy industry prior to beginning his position at UTD.
