Invest in any area of UT Dallas that you choose to support. Each year, annual gifts support scholarships and fellowships, campus enhancements and student activities, and every school and center. Your annual gift goes to work immediately, in the area you select, to advance our mission to become one of the nation’s best research universities. Read more about why annual donors are so important.
Each year, alumni and friends can connect with current students through the Comet Call student calling program. Throughout the year, Comet Callers communicate with alumni and friends to update records, share University news and request support. When you receive a call, please take the opportunity to bring us up to date and to learn how things have changed since your last visit to campus. Missed your call this year? Please update your record.
Legacy Lane allows graduates to forever leave their mark on campus. The pathway of personalized engraved pavestones honors the history and emerging traditions of the University. Made of beautiful shades of red brick, the pathway stretches along the creek behind the McDermott Library. Order a brick for yourself and it will be installed in the section dedicated to alumni from your class year. Bricks also make great gifts, and a lasting impact on the UT Dallas landscape.
Since 2008, each graduating class has made a positive impact on its alma mater through the important tradition of Class Challenge. Classes have established scholarships and beautified campus. Most importantly, the Class Challenge shows future generations of Comets that graduates are helping to create a brighter tomorrow.
Gifts designated to the Fund for UT Dallas (formerly the Loyalty Fund) are distributed equally to three separate areas in order to maximize the impact of unrestricted giving.
General Scholarship Fund
This fund directly benefits undergraduate students with scholarship awards, helping defray educational costs and allowing them to focus on completing their degrees.
Campus Enhancement Fund
This fund helps continue the transformation of campus with new trees, seating areas, water features and sidewalks.
Direct Support to Schools
All seven schools receive an equal distribution of gifts made through the Fund for UT Dallas. Schools use these funds on projects that benefit students, such as purchasing new equipment for computer labs, renovating study areas, and supporting school-based organizations.
