Faculty Recognition for Contributions to Diversity & Inclusion
UT Dallas, through the Department of Faculty Diversity within the Office of Diversity and Community Engagement, annually recognizes faculty members for outstanding contributions to diversity on our campus and in our community. New Faculty
One of the best barometers of progress in faculty diversity is new faculty hires. For the academic year 2012-2013,U T Dallas hired 30 new full-time faculty. Of these, 8 (27%) are women and include 3 (10%) in STEM fields. Five (almost 16%) are underrepresented minorities, while 3 (10%) are international. Every school within the University increased the diversity of its faculty this year. Within the Faculty Spotlight, new faculty are highlighted in red.
