Student Organization Diversity Award Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the $1000 cash prize that accompanies the Student Organization Diversity Award, the student organization must:

  • Be a registered student organization at the University of Texas at Dallas in good standing with the Student Organization Center (SOC)

Student Organization Diversity Award Nomination Checklist

The following documents must accompany the nomination form.

  • Nomination Statement
  • Organizational Profile (250 words or less)
  • A proposal of how your organization intends to utilize the cash prize to advance the UT Dallas commitment to embrace, enhance, and celebrate diversity

Nomination Deadline and Submission Requirements

All nominations are due by 5:00pm on Friday, March 1, 2013. Nominations may be
submitted electronically.

Nominations must be fully substantiated and reflect a careful and conscientious evaluation of the nominee.  Achievements should align closely to the selection criteria and be explained in a way that can be easily understood and appreciated by the general public.
