Blackboard Learn has been selected as the new eLearning system at the University of Texas at Dallas. Support for our current eLearning system, which is Blackboard Vista, will end in January 2013. The LMS Committee, consisting of members of the Academic Senate, Information Resources, Information Security, and UTD eLearning Team, worked with student and faculty focus groups to determine what product was best for the university. All UTD classes will use the new Blackboard Learn eLearning system for the Spring 2013 semester.

Spring 2013

Fall 2012

• Larger second pilot
• Around 240 courses taught on new system.
• Getting Started training and Open Lab sessions available. Click here to sign up!
• Faculty submit requests to copy content for Spring 2013 courses.
