EMAC taught me to seek to understand systems like online networks, offline networks, the internet as a whole in order to work within them - and when necessary to bypass those systems - in innovative ways. The EMAC plan is unique in its necessarily open interpretation of emerging media and communication, giving students the ability to design their path around their own interests and future plans.

About Lacy:

Lacy Mahone, among the first class of EMAC MA graduates, is the founder of her own startup company, DiveBomb Media. She specializes in executing social media strategy, management, and training for her client companies. She helps businesses transition into a PR and marketing plan that includes integrated social media and internet marketing.
