Is UT Dallas right for me?
UT Dallas is the
right place to make your educational dreams come true. From taking a
class with a Nobel Prize winning professor to just relaxing with
friends in the
student union, UT Dallas offers a wide variety of opportunities to grow intellectually and personally.
As a freshman student, you get to live in new apartments! You get your own room, a kitchen, and access to the campus computer network - not to mention a sand volleyball court and pool.
With over 100 organizations and clubs on campus, there is always something to do. From Greek to ethnic to special interest to professional organizations-- there is a group for you. If not, just find 4 more like-minded individuals and start your own organization.
In addition to student organizations, recreational sports, athletics, music, theatre, dance, and mind games (our intellectual competitions) will keep you involved and having fun!
UT Dallas also
offers you the kind of educational experience that will pay dividends as
you prepare for a career. UT Dallas professors are experts in areas such as
space science, nanotechnology, audiology, digital forensics and
cognitive science. In fact, Ray Baughman, director of the UT Dallas Nanotech
Institute was recently featured on
the PBS show Space
Elevator.
For those seeking to enhance their education further, we offer the Collegium V honors program. This program which is described as an enrichment
program as much as an honors program, offers students the opportunity to take courses that are 'a mile deep and an inch wide' .
At UT Dallas we are Creating the Future.
We hope you will join us!
