Admission Process For Graduate Students


The University of Texas at Dallas offers a liberal arts college atmosphere and a thriving research enterprise that involves students in the work of new technology, medicine, business, policy sciences, and the arts.

     All Graduate Students Application Requirements:

  • Submit an on-line application
  • Provide official university transcripts of all universities attending including current one by sending them to our mailing address
  • Pay the application fee.
  • $50 non-refundable international credential fee (for applicants with transcripts or other international credentials from international institutions)
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the US or its equivalent from a university outside of the US
  • Consult the Graduate Student Admission Requirements page for application requirements and submit any additional documents, letters of recommendations, test scores, or essays.

     Additional Requirements for International Applicants:

  • Provide official, attested photocopies, or certified copies of the provisional degree certificate, if applicable, degree certificate or diploma showing the type of degree and date earned
  • Provide official, attested photocopies, or certified copies of all previous university transcripts or mark sheets showing subjects completed, grades earned, and dates of courses taken - CONSOLIDATED MARK SHEETS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE
  • Provide official TOEFL scores (must achieve a minimum score of 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based) or 80 (internet-based) or IELTS 6.5)

     *In order for your academic documents to be official they must be in a school sealed envelope with the school seal or signature on the back side of the envelope.
