Q: What's your favorite thing about The University of Texas at Dallas?
A: My favorite part of the university would have to be the people that make up its population. From the helping staff to the motivating professors to the unique students, UT Dallas provides a dynamic and diverse college experience. Throughout my time as a student at UT Dallas I met people from all walks of life who were willing to offer as much advice and support to ensure a successful future after college!

Q: What's your favorite place on campus and why?
A: My favorite place on campus continually changes as the university changes to accommodate its growth. The patio outside The Pub, the Student Union mall, or even the gazebo outside the McDermott Library, are all great places to relax and catch up on studying between classes!

Q: What do you like about being an admissions counselor?
A: I enjoy going to high schools and meeting students in their everyday environment. It is exciting meeting students who can potentially make a difference in the world. Being a part of a student's higher education choices is a rewarding experience in itself!

Q: What advice would you give to college-bound students?
A: It is never too early to get started! Find out what interests you, and start researching schools that are strong within those fields. Knowing what you are looking for in a school is a huge step in the process. Once you have narrowed down your schools, stay on top of their deadlines and be active in the admissions process. Most importantly, visit your desired school and set up a pre-admissions appointment. These appointments allow you to discuss the admissions process in depth and give you the chance to ask questions that could be vital to your acceptance. Admissions counselors are here to help!
