Freshmen scholarships
Each year, UT Dallas offers the Academic Excellence Scholarships (AES) to incoming first-time-in-college freshman students who qualify. Your application for admission to the University serves as your AES application. These scholarships are subject to fund availability.
For the purposes of admission and scholarship consideration, a student will be evaluated as a freshman if the student's first matriculation at a college or university during a long semester after graduating from high school will occur at UT Dallas.
Transfer scholarships
The Transfer Academic Excellence Scholarship is available to qualified first-time undergraduate transfer students who have earned 30-90 transferrable semester credit hours beyond high school graduation.
The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship (PTK) is available to qualified first-time, degree-seeking, full-time and part-time undergraduate transfer students who are current members of PTK.
Both scholarships are subject to fund availability.
For the purposes of admission and scholarship consideration, a student will be evaluated as a transfer student if the student matriculated at a college or university other than UT Dallas in one or more long semesters after graduating from high school and prior to matriculating at UT Dallas.
Additional Scholarship and Financial Aid Opportunities
Additional scholarship opportunities are available to new and returning students. Many of these scholarship opportunities have unique deadlines, application requirements and awarding authorities.
The UT Dallas Office of Financial Aid provides federal, state and institutional assistance to eligible students to enable them to meet their personal and educational goals.
