The Activity Center is located on campus, adjacent to the School of Management building and accross the street
from the Student Union building. It is available to all students, faculty, and staff members.
It contains a fitness center, four racquetball courts, two squash courts, four basketball courts,
a 25-yard swimming pool, and a multipurpose room.
The Natatorium contains a 25-yard swimming pool for participants to utilize with convenient
hours throughout the day. Whether you are looking for an early morning workout or evening cool down,
the Natatorium is the perfect place.
The Fitness Center contains 29 pieces of cardio-equipment, two areas of free weights, and several plate loaded
machines to get the workout desired.
UTD has several Soccer Fields, Basketball Courts, Softball Fields, Tennis Courts, a Multipurpose Field, and
a Disc Golf Course.
Informal Recreation allows you to visit the Activity Center and participate
in a wide variety of activities. You can workout on your own or get together with friends
for a game of basketball, racquetball, or volleyball. If that isn't enough for you, play squash,
badminton, wallyball, tennis, or a game of indoor soccer. We offer several types of equipment for
individuals to check out in order to expand their recreation needs.
Throughout the year, Recreational Sports offers the UTD community a variety of activities
designed to get you out and about. Take a break from your daily routine to have some fun, try
something new, and get involved.
The Intramural Sports program at The University of Texas at Dallas is committed to providing comprehensive,
competitive, and recreational sporting opportunities for students, faculty and staff. You do not have to be an
athlete to participate in intramurals as we offer a wide array of activities that include various leagues and
tournaments ranging from Texas Hold 'Em Poker to Flag Football and Sports Trivia.
The Club Sports Program consists of recognized student organizations whose goals are to
promote and develop common sports or recreation related interests. Each club sport has been formed,
organized, managed, and maintained by student leaders at The University of Texas at Dallas.
