Audience: High School Students & Parents, Transfer Students

Discover UT Dallas is a program hosted in cities across Texas. Enrollment Services counselors will answer questions and provide detailed information regarding admissions, scholarships, financial aid, academic programs, and campus life.

This event is held in the fall semester every year from September through November.

Scholars' Day

Audience: High School Students & Parents, Transfer Students

Scholars' Day is an event for high school and community college students and their families. You are invited to campus to get a feel for UT Dallas. This event is held in November and February of each school year.

Preview Friday

Audience: Transfer Students

Preview Fridays provide an opportunity for transfer students to learn more about UT Dallas. Enrollment Service Advisors will provide detailed information about admissions, financial aid and scholarships, as well as campus life. An information session will be provided by academic advisors in each school. Participants will have their $50 application fee waived with a submitted application for the next long semester.

Transfer Expo

Audience: Transfer Students

Transfer Expos provide an opportunity for transfer students to learn more about and apply for admission to UT Dallas right at your current college campus. Enrollment Services Advisors will provide detailed information about admissions, financial aid and scholarships, as well as campus life. Academic advisors from each UT Dallas school will be available to meet with student who apply at the event. Participants will have their $50 application fee waived with a submitted application for the next long semester.

Locations, Dates and Times

*Fee waivers are available only to new, incoming freshmen and undergraduate transfer applicants who attend a "Scholars Day" or "Preview Friday" event. Fee waivers for high school senior applicants are only good for the upcoming school year beginning with the fall semester. Fee waivers for undergraduate transfer students are only good for the next successive long semester. If a student has paid their application fee prior to attending to the ES sponsored event, no credit will occur, as all paid application fees are nonrefundable.
