Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Science in International Political Economy (BA/BS in IPE)
The undergraduate degrees in International Political Economy prepare you to manage today's increasingly complex international environment. You will study material from multiple disciplines, including government, economics, geography, literature, foreign language, and interdisciplinary classes. You will have the opportunity to choose from among a list of prescribed classes in International Political Economy and electives related to a geographic area (Latin America, Asia & Middle East, or Europe) to fulfill your degree requirements.
There are two degree options for you. If you choose the Bachelor of Arts you will take more literature and history courses to prepare you for the diplomatic, government, or NGO sectors. If you choose the Bachelor of Science you will take more economics courses to prepare you for employment in areas related to international business or government.
Master of Science in International Political Economy (MS in IPE)
In today's world, politics and the economy are intertwined. The MS in IPE degree offers you an education to succeed in this dynamic, global workforce. In addition to providing you with strong analysis and evaluation skills, you will gain exposure to both knowledge of different geographic regions and issues of development, security, and international policy. The MS in IPE provides you with this broad perspective and will make you more competitive in the job market.

Doctor of Philosophy in Public Policy and Political Economy (PhD in PPPE)
In today's world, public policy, politics, business and the economy are intertwined. The PhD in PPPE allows you to emphasize the integration and application of theory to practice. You will be prepared to conduct interdisciplinary research and to teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels in public policy, urban affairs, and planning programs. You will also be prepared for demanding analytical and administrative positions in domestic and international research and policy institutions and in the private sector. The strong analytical and interdisciplinary focus sets this degree apart from others and will set you apart from the general pool of job applicants.
