As part of UT Dallas' Good Neighbors program, Dr. Paul Battaglio speaks to residents of Highland Springs in August on "Ethics or Why Do Louisiana's Politicians Keep Landing in Jail". Dr. Battaglio is an Assistant Professor in the Public Affairs Program.

On March 4, 2009 UT Dallas' Davidson Auditorium was packed for the Center for Crime and Justice Studies and the Pre-Law Society lecture and discussion on the topic of justice featuring Dallas District Attorney Craig Watkins, and two of the men who have been exonerated on DNA evidence.
