Tom Brunell
Professor of Political Science

Tom Brunell, Professor of Political Science, studies American elections, the US Congress, representation and redistricting. He has testified as an expert witness in state and federal courts around the country in redistricting and Voting Rights Act related litigation. He is on leave for Spring 2014 and is currently a Visiting Fellow at the University of Sydney where he is working on a book about partisan gerrymandering. He previously published a book in 2008 titled, Redistricting and Representation: Why Competitive Elections are Bad for America.
