The doctoral program in Criminology is an interdisciplinary, research-oriented degree offered in conjunction with other graduate programs in the School. 

The doctoral coursework emphasizes theories of criminal behavior, research methodologies in Criminology, and society’s response to crime.

The objective of the Program is to provide students with a coherent and intellectually challenging research degree that prepares them for an academic appointment, or an administrative one with oversight of research and development within a criminal justice organization.
