The mission of the Bachelor of Science in Economics Program is to provide an education that allows the student to understand social phenomena from an economics perspective of benefits and costs.
The Program also enables the student to think critically about choices in the face of limited resources in order to understand more clearly the choices available to society and the economic consequences of decisions.
Students learn about decision making by households, firms, and the public sector, and about ways of quantitatively measuring, modeling, and studying effects and outcomes involving the micro- and macroeconomies.
