Profile
Dr. Bray received his PhD in Criminology from the University of Missouri – St. Louis in 2002. He now serves as Assistant Professor in the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences at the University of Texas at Dallas.
Dr. Bray’s research interests include the study of crime across various aggregates of community, especially the interaction of various processes of community dynamic with human behavior.
In addition, Dr. Bray’s professional experience in policing agencies at the local, county, and state levels has led to an interest in studying the operational environment of policing agencies and its effect on efficiency and effectiveness.
Dr. Bray also serves as the Associate Director of the J. McDonald Williams Institute at the Foundation for Community Empowerment.
