Clint Peinhardt (Ph.D. University of Michigan) specializes in International Relations, particularly International Political Economy. His recent work examines the causes of financial liberalization, such as the opening of stock markets to foreign investors and the process of recruiting multinational corporations to new sites of production. Other work explores domestic political support for free trade across countries and the importance of international legal frameworks for foreign investment.
