Profile
John L. Worrall received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Washington State University in 1999. As an associate professor at UTD, Dr. Worrall specializes in and teaches courses on crime control policy, legal issues, prosecution, and courts.
He has published a number of articles in journals such as Criminology, Evaluation Review, and Justice Quarterly. Dr. Worrall is also the author of six books and is currently editing two readers, one of which is called The Changing Role of The American Prosecutor. It will be published by SUNY Press in 2007.
Past Work Experience
Prior to coming to UTD in 2006, Dr. Worrall held positions as assistant and associate professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at California State University, San Bernardino.
