Sen. Hutchison Announces a Research Grant for UT Dallas

WASHINGTON - Texas' senior Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) today announced that a grant totaling $127,637 has been awarded to the University of Texas at Dallas by the National Science Foundation (NSF).

"These NSF funds will help UT Dallas expand its leading efforts in research," Sen. Hutchison said.

The grant will support a project entitled, "Collaborative Research: Social Identity, Mechanism Design and Equilibrium Selection," which is under the direction of Sherry Xin Li, Assistant Professor of Economics and Political Economy.

Sen. Hutchison is a senior member of the Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee, which authorizes the NSF, and the Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice and Science, which funds the NSF budget.
