Faculty Notes
Anthony Champagne was selected as a Board of Regents Outstanding Teacher
for 2009 for Tenured Faculty. Only a select number of faculty members
from across the UT System were chosen for this honor. Champagne will
receive an award of $30,000.
Denise Boots was selected as a Board of Regents Outstanding Teacher for
2009 for Tenure Track Faculty. Only a select number of faculty members
from across the UT System were chosen for this honor. Boots will receive
an award of $25,000.
Brian J. L. Berry co-wrote Dissatisfaction with city life: A new look at
some old questions with former student
Adam Okulicz-Kozaryn (Ph.D. '08).
The article examines dissatisfaction levels among rural and urban
inhabitants.
Daniel Arce wrote three cases for the Aspen Institute's
Giving Voice to Values curriculum. His cases are titled, "Product Safety and (Preemptive) Recalls," "Profit Maximization and Layoffs" and "Agency Theory and Corporate Governance."
Marie Chevrier advised the UT Dallas Model UN team that won a Distinguished Delegation award at the National Model United Nations conference.
