I am responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership and the financial performance management of an 888-bed flagship hospital. I also oversee clinical operational excellence, physician practice and service line development.
The Value of My Degree
My public affairs degree provided me with a more profound understanding of academic research in the areas of leadership theory and strategic planning. This understanding has allowed me to introduce a purposeful theory into my career.

Advice for EPPS Students
Be sure to apply all the lessons from the classroom to your daily experiences. More importantly, challenge the theories and question all conclusions. Take advantage of the fact that UT Dallas welcomes engaging and dynamic dialogue in the classroom and seize the opportunity to be engaged in your educational experience.
