Deciding on Public Policy and Political Economy
With a background in statistics, I had the opportunity to collaborate as a consultant with researchers in a diverse set of fields. Through these collaborations, I became more and more interested in the applications of statistics in the social sciences. I learned that there is more to research and data analysis than mere number crunching. This, as well as a personal interest in studying human behavior, lead me to UT Dallas and the PPPE program. Here, I hope to build on my quantitative skills and learn more about research in general and economic and political research in particular.
My EPPS Success
I am extremely grateful to all EPPS faculty, staff and fellow students for creating a vibrant environment for learning and scholarship. Though talks and discussions in my classes as well as outside of class, I have learned very much from all of you, as well as made great friends.
Plans for the Future
I genuinely enjoy doing research and learning more about people and things. Thus I have my eyes set on an academic career as well as perhaps research and development in the public and private sectors.
