Deciding on Political Science

When I came to UTD, I was already planning to be pre-law. Political science gave me the most law-related classes to choose from and made it easy to fit the Archer Fellowship into my degree plan.

My EPPS Success

I owe a lot of my success to setting goals. I knew what I wanted to do when I came to UTD, so I've been able to make the best choices possible to move closer to that goal.

Plans for the Future

Once I graduate, I plan to go straight to law school - preferably Yale, the University of Texas, or the University of Virginia. After that, I expect I will go into litigation or civil liberties law.

Advice to Prospective EPPS Students

Get to know your professors! Talk to them after class, visit them during their office hours, and take an interest in what they do. You'll be surprised how many opportunities come your way.

Other Interests

Pool, hiking, reading, history, and writing.
