Graduate Student Financial Aid Information
There are a number of opportunities available to you to fund your graduate education. Cost of attendance estimates are available to help you plan for your educational expenses. All graduate students may apply for financial aid through the university's financial office.
In addition to traditional financial aid, there are many scholarships and fellowships available to you. Teaching Assistantship Information
Becoming a teaching assistant (TA) provides you an opportunity to work with PPPE faculty while also providing a means for financial support. Teaching assistantships are available only to doctoral students in the PPPE program. Below are resources for those interested in learning more about becoming a PPPE TA:
Graduate Tuition Scholarship
Both new and continuing PPPE doctoral students may apply for the Graduate Tuition Scholarship. These competitive scholarships are awarded each semester. To apply, complete the application form below and return it the PPPE program assistant:
Graduate Tuition Scholarships are renewable for ten long semesters, provided you are in good standing and are making satisfactory progress towards degree completion.
The deadline for Graduate Tuition Scholarship and Teaching Assistantships applications for fall semesters is March 31st and for spring semesters is October 31st. You must be admitted into the PPPE doctoral program and have submitted all necessary documents to the PPPE program assistant by the stated deadline to be considered. The number of Graduate Tuition Scholarships and Teaching Assistantships awarded each semester are based on budgetary constraints.
Graduate Student Travel Grants
The Public Policy and Political Economy Program annually allocates funds to support for students' professional advancement. These funds are intended to assist graduate students who have completed a substantial portion of their graduate course work to present results from their research at professional meetings (proposed activity must have been accepted by an association or professional venue to be eligible for travel funds). Students interested in applying for travel funds should complete the application form below and return it the PPPE program assistant:
