Terrorism and policy Conference

The Center for Global Collective Action, University of Texas at Dallas, is sponsoring an academic workshop on terrorism and policy that will bring together senior and junior scholars, who are doing significant research on terrorism.

Participants will present research papers that explore terrorism and policy using theoretical (e.g., game theory and rational choice models) and empirical methods (e.g., time series and panel estimations).

Participants are coming from Harvard University, Princeton University, University of Alabama, Claremont McKenna College, University of Pennsylvania, New York University, University of Wisconsin, University of North Carolina, University of Maryland-Baltimore County, College of William & Mary, Holy Family University, and National Defense Academy (Japan).  There are also a number of paper presenters and participants from the University of Texas at Dallas.

The conference includes scholars from economics, operations research, and political science.  The best papers will be refereed for possible inclusion in special issues of Economics and Politics, and Defense and Peace Economics
