What is UTD-ERC?
UTD-ERC is a state designated education research center that provides a national model of how administrative data can be used to conduct rigorous research for the benefit of education. In bringing together P-12 data from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and college data (2 and 4 year) from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), it creates an unparalleled source of P-16 data that will ultimately allow researchers to follow students from pre-Kindergarten through college.

As of now, our data holdings include higher education student data from THECB spanning the academic years 2000-2007, and TEA institution-level data spanning the FY 2004-2007 timeframe (including financial actuals through 2006).
At the moment, we are in the process of converting these files to the STATA format. The files are currently available on our systems in the formats received.
