The Comet Calendar is an online listing of various student happenings around campus. Movies, plays, musicals and dances as well as art exhibitions, student life, academic and sports events can be found here.
It is linked to from the main U. T. Dallas home page and has high visibility, especially to students.

How To Submit Your Event
If your department is already set up to add events to the Comet Calendar, just talk to whoever is in charge of doing so (contact University Web Services if you are not sure who this is). If your department is not set up to add events to the Calendar, or if your event is not affiliated with any department, contact Roberta Green. Follow the same process to have an event published in This Week Comet Events.
Once your event has been submitted to the Comet Calendar, you can make changes to the entry at any time and they will be reflected on the calendar immediately.
The Student Union room registration form offers an option to have your event publicized. If you choose this option, your event will be added to the Comet Calendar.
Beginning August 15th, 2005, all events that are entered on the Comet Calendar will automatically be added to This Week Comet Events.
