What They Do

Regulate parking and traffic on campus; operate the Information Center on University Parkway.

The Information Center is operated Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., and on Friday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Visitors can obtain a temporary parking pass and campus map there or at the Police Building if the Information Center is closed.

Campus events which require special parking arrangments are handled through the UTD Police Online Event Registration and Request Form.

Notes

• Multi-day visitor passes must be obtained at the Parking & Traffic Office in the Police Building.
• Be aware of the nearest parking to your event and make sure your guests know how to get there.
• You can make your own parking passes for your event and distribute them to your guests. Just fax or bring a copy to the traffic department so they know not to ticket cars with those passes.
• Notify the Information Center of your event so the guard may direct your guests to the proper location.
