UT Dallas invites you to participate in the Summer Platform for Undergraduate Research (SPUR), sponsored by the Hobson Wildenthal Honors College. This new capstone summer research symposium is meant for all UT Dallas students who are performing research over the summer. This includes research in science, engineering, humanities, social sciences, business and the arts. The SPUR Symposium will be Friday, July 29.

Students do not need to be affiliated with an official summer research program or faculty mentor to participate. This is a unique opportunity to work toward a specific goal, get experience presenting your work and build your resume. All student participants must submit an abstract describing their research between July 1-15.

Most participants will make poster presentations. A select group of students will make oral presentations. The top presenters will earn awards sponsored by various entities across campus.
