MTDM 2021 Conference has postponed due to COVID-19, and will be rescheduled at a later date. Any questions please email [email protected]

The purpose of this conference is to foster the exchange of the most recent research methodologies and finings amongst researchers in investigating time-dependent behavior of materials to stimulate thoughts on future research directions to address most critical issues in this field.

The conference welcomes submission of abstracts dealing with materials including polymers, composites, metals, soft matter, living tissues, soils, wood, asphalt, concrete, etc., in the framework of disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering.

Contributions dealing with experimental characterization and modeling of time-dependent behavior, as well as with applications relying on time-dependent aspects, such as frequency or strain rate sensitivity, fatigue, creep, relaxation, environmental degradation, are invited.

On the first day of the conference, a symposium dedicated to the memory of Prof. M. Takashi will be held. A special issue in memory of Prof. Takashi will be published in the journal Mechanics of Time-dependent Materials.
