Do you want to play an active role in making the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science the best workplace for staff on campus?

Then you will want to hear about the ECS Dean's Staff Advisory Group!

Our Mission:

The ECS Dean's Staff Advisory Group strives to create a welcoming, equitable environment for all staff members within the Erik Jonsson School in order to foster a more inclusive and collaborative workplace. We are committed to strengthening community, staff professional growth, and fostering a pathway of communication between upper administration and our constituents. ECS Dean's Staff Advisory Group works with leadership in shaping staff-related policies and procedures, and to create a culture of advocacy and partnership – we are your voice!

This group was created by Dean Adams in order to have a representative collection of current staff to collaborate on improvements for all staff and to serve in an advisory capacity to the Dean on staff issues.

In addition to our work as a whole, group members are also able to participate in specific committees that align with their particular interest, including the Social Committee and the Professional Development Committee.

How do you join?

Any full-time staff member within the Jonsson School may participate in the group!

The full Staff Advisory Group meets once a month. Committees within the group meet separately once a month as well. Participation in the ECS Dean's Staff Advisory Group is considered work time.
