This exhibition brings 130 ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures — between 3,300 and 3,500 years old — to the Dallas Museum of Art. The Service Learning office is sponsoring a scavenger hunt which will visit area neighborhoods to collect canned foods in support of the Cornerstone Ministries food bank in South Dallas.

Open to UT Dallas freshmen only.
2. EXPLORE DALLAS WITH FRIENDS
Grab some friends and explore the Dallas-Forth Worth area any time with a free transit pass from DART, Dallas Area Rapid Transit. Your transit pass connects you to Dallas and Fort-Worth, through the Trinity Railway Express (TRE). Registered UT Dallas students, staff and faculty, begin your journey by requesting a DART transit pass.
Whether you are new to the area or just looking for something different in DFW, visit the Dallas Fort-Worth & Beyond website for destination ideas catered to everyone from the thrill-seeker to history buffs, architecture aficionados to sports fans.
Tickets to local venues are always available through the Comet Center, located in the Student Union Room 2.204.

Many UT Dallas offices also sponsor trips in and around Dallas throughout the school year.
The Thomsen Fund provides free tickets for UT Dallas students to attend performances and other fine arts events in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
