Experience Dallas
Dallas — or Big D, as it is often referred to — offers visitors a unique blend of Southwestern warmth, cosmopolitan flair, Old West charm and modern sophistication. UT Dallas students have three ways to experience all that the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex has to offer. Pick up tickets and get more information at the Comet Center.
1. JOIN A PLANNED ACTIVITY
Registered UT Dallas students have the opportunity to join University-sponsored events throughout year. Transportation will be organized for all events.
2. EXPLORE DALLAS WITH FRIENDS
Grab some friends and explore the Dallas-Forth Worth area any time with a free transit pass from DART, Dallas Area Rapid Transit. Your transit pass connects you to Dallas. Registered UT Dallas students, staff and faculty, begin your journey by requesting a DART transit pass.
3. OTHER VENUES
Many UT Dallas offices also sponsor trips in and around Dallas throughout the school year.
Whether you are new to the area or just looking for something different in DFW, visit the Dallas Fort-Worth & Beyond website for destination ideas catered to everyone from the thrill-seeker to history buffs, architecture aficionados to sports fans.
Tickets to local venues are always available through the Comet Center, located in the Student Union Room 2.204.
