Frank Dufour, Ph.D. School of Arts and Humanities
Assistant Professor of Arts and Technology
Dr. Dufour teaches sound design for digital arts. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Paris VIII in the Department of Hypermedia. His doctoral dissertation topic was on the consequences of digitization of temporal objects.
As a member of the Laboratory Musique et Informatique de Marseille, he researches a common language for the description, analysis and design of music and visual arts. He creates digital intermedia environments, where he experiments with the use of common processes applied to images and sounds.
