A. Dean Sherry, Ph.D. School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics
Cecil and Ida Green Distinguished Chair in Systems Bioscience and Director of the Advanced Imaging Research Center
Dr. Sherry holds professorships in chemistry and radiology and directs the 120,000-square-foot Advanced Imaging Research Center (AIRC) at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
The center is a collaborative effort between the two universities and is home to imaging equipment such as a 3 Tesla magnet and a 7 Tesla magnet, one of only a handful worldwide. Sherry has published more than 290 papers.
Sherry received his Ph.D. in chemistry from Kansas State University.
