Dr. Aiken is a geophysicist whose expertise is in global positioning systems. He can create 3-D maps of the Earth's surface using digital mapping technology to detail land surfaces, structures and elements. He has built geographic information systems (GIS) databases of Venezuela, China and Ecuador and multi-layer GIS databases of Mexico. He has a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona.
