Professor and Executive Director of the Callier Center for Communication Disorders
Dr. Campbell is the executive director of the Callier Center for Communication Disorders, one of the nation’s pre-eminent educational, research and treatment centers focusing on communication and communication disorders.
His research has focused on the speech and language skills of children recovering from traumatic brain injury, and the developmental outcomes in children with and without histories of middle-ear effusion.
He has studied the physiological development of speech in typical and atypical speakers, and his research continues to focus on the identification of physiological, environmental and genetic variables for the early identification of speech and language disorders in children.
He received his Ph.D. in communicative disorders from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
