Clinical Associate Professor
Dr. Cokely develops programs to advance and evaluate the quality of clinical education at the UT Dallas Callier Center for Communication Disorders.
She developed Teaching Clinics in Audiology, which are designed to provide first-year doctor in audiology students with direct access to evaluation and counseling methods in a forum that fosters critical thinking and independence.
Each year, Dr. Cokely co-directs the Summer Intensive Aural Rehabilitation Conference (SIARC), a five-day program that brings state-of-the-art rehabilitation techniques to adults with hearing loss and their families. She is also investigating computerized auditory training and working with community mentors to implement service-learning into aural rehabilitation curriculum.
