Associate Dean for Art and Performance
Kathryn Evans is one of the nation’s foremost authorities on music for voice and guitar. She and UT Dallas Professor Enric Madriguera are the longest-running voice and guitar touring duo in the world, with a decade of experience performing together.
Evans also is an experienced arts administrator, proficient in the logistics of aesthetic and acoustic design for visual and performing arts.
Evans joined the faculty of The University of Texas at Dallas in 1994, where she is currently the associate dean for Art & Performance in the School of Arts and Humanities. She also teaches vocal and choral music, and directs the UT Dallas Chamber Singers.
Evans holds two Master’s of Arts degrees in Music and Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego.
