David Mauer, Ph.D. School of Management
Ashbel Smith Professor of Finance
Dr. Mauer studies factors that drive corporate financing and investment decisions and how these decisions interact. He also studies bonds, futures and options, as well as other investment vehicles, and debt maturity, leverage buyouts and other finance topics. He is well-regarded by his students, having repeatedly received teaching awards. Mauer earned his doctorate from Purdue University's Krannert School of Management.
