Cochlear Implant Program Manager
Ms. Sweeney is a certified auditory-verbal therapist. For the past ten years, she has taught listening and speaking skills to children with cochlear implants.
Ms. Sweeney has provided workshops around the state to train professionals who work with children with cochlear implants. She also teaches UT Dallas graduate students about children with hearing loss and their communication needs.
Ms. Sweeney is the cochlear implant summer listening camp coordinator and has served on the board of the Texas Speech-Language Hearing Association.
