Professor of Literary Studies
Dr. Theresa M. Towner is an authority on the work of Nobel Prize-winning novelist William Faulkner, African-American literature and culture, and Harry Potter. Her recent work includes The Cambridge Introduction to William Faulkner.
She was honored by the University with the Chancellor’s Council Teaching Award for 2001-2002.
Towner received her Ph.D. from the University of Virginia.
