The Maintenance and Services arm of Facilities Management oversees the daily functioning of the University’s physical assets, including the upkeep of buildings, grounds, utilities, plumbing, keys, signs, state vehicles, remodeling and move support.

The Building Maintenance team performs campus facilities maintenance and services, manages utilities, and provides key shop services.

In addition, the Special Facilities team maintains and operates the complex functions of buildings such as the Natural Science and Engineering Research Laboratory (NSERL) and the Math, Science, and Engineering Teaching-Learning Center (SLC), including four computer systems used to help monitor water, gas, air, exhaust and acid-neutralization systems, and assist in lab space configuration, move-in and in training faculty and students on use and care of the equipment.
