Postdoctoral Position In Elementary Particle Physics

The University of Texas at Dallas High Energy Physics group is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on the Atlas experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. The successful candidate will be initially based at CERN, and will work on topics related to the Atlas Pixel detector system and the detector commissioning during the startup phase of the LHC, as well as data analysis of interest to the candidate and the UT Dallas HEP group. The candidate will have the opportunity to return to UT Dallas for physics analysis work after the first year of appointment.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Experimental Particle Physics with experience in the operations of high energy experiments and physics analysis.
