UT Dallas has grown exponentially since its founding in 1969 and is on the path to achieving national research university, or Tier One, status. The University has enjoyed success in its research and fundraising efforts, as well as in student growth.

State of the University 2011

Officials regularly invite faculty, staff, students, retirees and the public to the annual State of the University address. On Nov. 8 of last year, UT Dallas President David E.
