Anselme Thierry Bony Scholarship

Description:

The Anselme Thierry Bony was established for undergraduate and graduate students. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who received all or part of their preparatory education in the Côte d’Ivoire, are dependents of individual(s) from the Côte d’Ivoire, have some other connection to Côte d’Ivoire through their family or work, or have a demonstrated interest and knowledge of the Ivorian culture. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA, and have at least two semesters remaining prior to graduation. A minimum award of $1,000 per year may be given and cannot be combined with any other forms of financial aid. This scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis by a committee duly appointed by the president of UT Dallas.

Application Instructions:

Students must:
  1. Submit a mimimum 300 word narrative describing why applicant should receive scholarship and how it will add to educational goals.
  2. Submit a resume (uploaded as one document with narrative)
  3. Submit a letter of recommendation
  4. Have a current FAFSA on file in the Office of Financial Aid or complete a Financial Statement for UT Dallas Scholarships.
  5. Submit complete application by May 1, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.

To access application and financial statement:
  1. Log in to Galaxy.
  2. In the “Orion Self-Service” menu, select “Scholarship Applications”.
  3. Select your application from the list.

Internet Explorer is the preferred browser for uploading documents to the scholarship applications in Galaxy. If you are on another browser and are having difficulties, follow the steps below.
