Parking Office

General Information

  • The operation of a motor vehicle or bicycle on The University of Texas at Dallas campus is a PRIVILEGE granted by the University and is not an inherent right of any faculty, staff, or student.
  • All faculty, staff, and students who have vehicles in their possession or control for use and park on the University campus are required to purchase a valid UT Dallas parking permit. This includes all vehicles parked and/or utilizing the on campus apartments>

Information Center

The Information Center is on University Parkway and is operated:

Monday-Friday
7:00am - 2:00am
Saturday & Sunday
2:30pm - 2:00am.
Temporary Passes, Loading Zone Passes, and Campus Maps may be obtained at this building.

After Hours Contact

When the Information Center is closed. Temporary Parking Permits may be obtained by visiting the UT Dallas Police Communications Center, which is located on the northeast corner of campus in the Police building.

Note: Campus events which require special parking arrangements should be submitted for consideration via the online Event Registration & Request Form.

Green $85 $48 $22 Green permits allow you to park in any space painted green
Gold $142 $81 $48 Gold permits allow you to park in any space painted gold
Evening Orange $182 $106 $59 Evening Orange permits allow you to park in gold before 4pm and orange after 4pm. It is only available to students whose classes begin after 4pm
Orange $215 $118 $64 Orange is reserved for faculty or staff members only.
Purple $335 $174 $87 Purple permits are for faculty or staff members who have been approved to purchase purple by the Vice President for Business Affairs
Reserved Purple $400     Reserved purple permits are for faculty or staff members who have been approved to purchase purple by the Vice President for Business Affairs and approved to park in Lot R behind the AD/MP building.
Resident Only $34 $32 $32 Resident permits allow you to park at the campus apartments only. A copy of your lease and the title or registration receipt of your vehicle are required to purchase any resident permit. Each person on the lease can only purchase one permit.
Resident/Green $119 $80 $54 Resident/Green permits allow you to park at the campus apartments and the green spaces on campus. A copy of your lease and the title or registration receipt of your vehicle are required to purchase any resident permit. Each person on the lease can only purchase one permit.
Resident/Gold $176 $113 $80 Resident/Gold permits allow you to park at the campus apartments and the gold spaces on campus. A copy of your lease and the title or registration receipt of your vehicle are required to purchase any resident permit. Each person on the lease can only purchase one permit
