Parking: On-Campus Housing

On-Campus Residents:

  • Residential permits are required for all residents of Waterview Park or University Village.
    • Residents of Waterview Park must provide a current copy of their lease, comet card and registration, title or license tag receipt of the vehicle at the Bursar’s Office to obtain this permit.
    • Residents of University Village must purchase permits at their leasing office. University Village residents will not be able to purchase at the Bursar Office. The registration, title or license tag receipt will still be required to purchase a permit.
  • The Permit is a flat fee of $32.00 for each vehicle. New or replacement hangtags are also $32.00.
  • We can only sell one resident permit to each resident listed on the lease.
  • This permit allows parking at University Village or Waterview Park only.
  • To park on campus, a green or gold permit must also be purchased.
  • On campus housing and campus parking are separate areas. Campus permits (Green, Gold, Evening Orange, etc) may not park at the apartments
  • If the vehicle registration provided is in another student’s name a resident permit will not be sold

Visitors to On-Campus Apartments

  • Visitors must obtain a pass from the Information Center on University Parkway. Visitors include faculty, staff and students who do not live in the on-campus apartments.
  • Student, faculty or staff affiliation with UT Dallas is not an exception for obtaining a visitor pass for the apartment parking lots. Students, faculty, & staff visiting the campus apartments are not entitled to have the first citation in the apartment parking lots dismissed.
